While the number of self-identified lifestyle preppers is growing, it's far from the mainstream. My personal experience is that it's difficult to propagate the prepping meme because of the psychological barrier known as "normalcy bias".

While the fundamental methodologies of prepping are quite simple, unfortunately it can be a difficult and delicate endeavor to get others fully on-board.
